| · Where do I begin from?
Drag and drop the files you want onto the X2CD's BurnCD screen,
select segment your love, hit the start button, and take a cup
of coffee. The custom CD will be ready soon! Both 74 and 80-minute
CDR/RW discs are supported. There is no need to convert to WAV!
Your CD is burned on-the-fly.
· Burn CD and Convert functions don't work well, why?
Maybe your computer doesn't have DirectX 8.0 or later installed.
Please download DirectX from Microsoft and install it.
· X2CD doesn't play DVD's vob file?
Your computer has no native decoder for DVD. Click to open "About"
dialog and check "enable internal DVD support".
· How do I find out what version of DirectX I am using?
Run X2CD and click to open about-dialog. The DirectX version information
appears on it. Or use windows's main menu Start->Run, run DXDIAG.EXE
then see result.
· Why seeking DVD video is slow?
It's because of the MPEG2 encoding technology. When seeking is
occured, it must find some key frame to display the screen. However,
this will not have any effect on audio ripping. So you can select
the start/stop time just by what you hear.
· When I add file \VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.VOB in my DVD disc,
X2CD tell me "Can not play back the audio stream: the audio
format is not supported.", why?
Because this .vob file is a DVD video menu without audio stream,
X2CD can not find any recognized audio stream.
· When I burn soundtrack CD directly from DVD, X2CD failed,
why?
You should turn on test mode when you are making soundtrack CD
directly from DVD driver/disc to ensure that the CPU and I/O subsystems
are both fast enough to support the burning speed you selected,
if test mode failed, please select lower CDR writing speed .Also
you can convert DVD soundtrack to mp3 or wav files first then
burn those files to CD.
· Why the DVD soundtrack CD's volume so small?
You should select Normalize check box to enable automatic volume
level adjustment.
· Why X2CD complains no cdr/cdrw found?
Is there another application using the driver? Close it and restart
X2CD.
· Does X2CD Music CD Burner support non-CD-quality media
files?
Yes. X2CD Music CD Burner not only supports 44.1KHz,Stero CD quality
media files, but also supports almost all other sample rate, stereo
or mono media files. For non-44.1KHz audio, X2CD provides a high
quality resample function to convert to CD audio format, this
function maybe the best one.
