· Does DVD-Cloner support DVD+R/RW?
Untill now , DVD-Cloner supports DVD-R/RW for its compatibility
but not DVD+R/RW.
· Why does it pop up such error message "NO DVD DRIVE
FOUND!" when I try the trial version?
Please check your ASPI. Is it ASPI V4.60 ? Now, you can update
your ASPI layer within DVDCLONER v1.81 ! Or download ASPICHK here
to check the version of ASPI's . DVD-Cloner only supports ASPI
V4.60.
· Why does the program lock up when I burn the DVD?
Please select DEFAULT or 1X as speed . If it is too fast , DVD-R/RW
writer will be too hot to lock up .
· Is there any restriction of the trial DVD-Cloner?
Yes, the trial DVD-Cloner could only burn 1/5 of the DVD but the
full version could burn the whole DVD .
· What is the Hard drive requirements ?
If you are running the trialversion DVD-Cloner, it needs 2 GB
free hard drive space. As for the full DVD-Cloner,it requires
as much as double of the DVD capacity's free hard drive space.
For example, D5 format DVD requires 10GB or so; D9 format DVD
requires 20GB or so . Please select the proper hard drive to save
the TEMP directory by "setup".
· What kind of DVD-ROM does DVD-Cloner support?
DVD-Cloner supports D5 and D9 .
· Can I convert DVD to IMG format with DVD-Cloner?
Yes , you can. DVD-Cloner will support IMG format file if you
set it by "TO" . Moreover, you could burn the IMG file
to your DVD-RW directly if you set if by "FROM" .And
you conver IMG format file to DVD-R/RW with other programs.
· How many DVD-R/RW will be needed for D5 and D9?
One DVD-RW for D5 but two for D9.
· How long does DVD-Cloner to burn a DVD?
It will be one hour or so for D5 DVD and two or three hours for
D9 DVD .
· When installing ASPI4.60, it indicates “this utility
upgrades ASPI for windows95/windowsNT”. What should I do?
After tested several times, we conclude that ASPI4.60 could work
on Windows ME/WINDOWS XP/WINDDOWS 2000.
· What's meaning of "KEEYP MENU" in SETUP of
DVD-Cloner V1.8?
Usually DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW is 4.7GB so that you need two DVD-R/RW
to burn D9 DVD movie. Then menu will be meaningless and you do
not need to backup "menu" of D9 DVD movie. Also, some
DVD has special menu that DVD-CLONER could not backup it.Thus,
please do not select "KEEP MENU". We recommend that
you do not select "KEEP MENU" when backup D9 DVD movie.
· Why the DVD-RW burned with DVD-Cloner could not be played
on DVD DRIVE or DVD PLAYER?
If the DVD-RW with data could not be played on DVD DRIVE or DVD
PLAYER, of course the DVD-RW with video and audio could not be
played on DVD DRIVE or DVD PLAYER either.
1.make sure your DVD DIRVE or DVD PLAYER supports DVD-RW.
2.please use DVD-R instead of DVD-RW which is more compatible.
3.please try the latest DVD-DRIVE or DVD PLAYER that supports
DVD-RW.
· What does "simulate burn" in SETUP mean
It is just to test your DVD burner. If you select "simulate
burn", it will not burn DVD. Usually please do not select
"simulate burn".
· What should I do if DVD-Cloner doesn't support my DVD
writer?
You can turn to IMG MAKING function of DVD-Cloner.DVD-Cloner can
save the IMG file that is converted from the DVD movie on your
hard drive. You can use NERO or other software to burn IMG file
to your DVD-R/RW. NOTE:you cannot copy the IMG file to your DVD-R/RW
as a large file, please use those softwares that can recognize
the IMG file.
· How to burn a IMG file to DVD-R/RW,DVD+R/RW?
If you have DVD-R/RW, then you can copy the IMG file to DVD movie
directly. Just choose the files with the extension *.img in the
FROM option.
if you have DVD+R/RW, it is a bohter, but you can do what you
want anyway,that is, use the burning softwares that can support
DVD+R/RW as well as IMG file. The information below is the way
to use the common softwares that can recognize IMG file: NERO
5.5.9.17
· Where can I download ASPI4.60 and Forceaspi?

· What can I do if my DVD PLAYER could not play the DVD-R/RW
made by DVD-CLONER?
1.When playing, if it turns to blackscreen, please click "stop"
in the DVD PLAYER then play it again.
2.If DVD PLAYER could not recognise the DVD-R/RW made by DVD-CLONER,
please try another DVD PLAYER. You'd better try SONY,PANISONIC
DVD PLAYER and it should be newly produced.
3.Before place an order for DVD-CLONER, please have a try with
DVD-RW and play it on your DVD PLAYER.
· DVD-CLONER still could not find my DVD DRIVE or DVD BURNER
afer updation. How to figure it out?

to download ASPI4.60 and install it manually. Then restar your
computer and have a try again.
· Could DVD-CLONER 1.9 support DVD+R/RW,DVD-RAM?
No problem! Now DVD-CLONER 1.9 could support DVD+R/RW,DVD-RAM,DVD-R/RW
perfectly. No matter what kind of DVD BURNER you use, you can
clone with your DVD MOVIE with it.
In DVD-CLONER 1.90,we offered a CD API option, if you are using
DVD+R/RW,DVD-RAM,please choose this option.In this way ,DVDCloner
can support your DVD+R/RW and DVD-RAM.
NOTE: You should have installed NERO 5.5.5.0 or a newer version.
Otherwise, DVD-CLONER may not support your DVD+R/RW,DVD-RAM!
· How does DVD-CLONER1.9 solve the problem that the 2nd
disc burned cannot be played ?
If the 2nd disc you got cannot be played, you can choose "
MOVIE ONLY" in the SETUP option. Then there is no restriction
caused by MENU when you play the DVD MOVIE made by dvd cloner.
So you can play the 2nd disc smoothly.
· After " making 1 image file" , DVD-CLONER just
stops there. What to do next?
It seems that the DVD has special format and please try the following
solution:
1.Press "Abort" to stop image file making.
2.Press "Exit" to exit DVD-CLONER .
3.Make sure you have installed "NERO 5.5.5.x".
4.Insert blank DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW before restart DVD-CLONER.
5.please select "CD API" at "SETUP".
6.Try to clone the DVD again.
Then DVD-CLONER will not make the image file but burn the DVD
movie to blank DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW directly.
· When I click "BEGIN", it indicates "MFC
APPLICATION" error. What can I do?
Make sure ASPI is V4.60 . If not, please download
and update it. After Upgrading your ASPI, please reboot your PC.
